Why are FastClass subscribers encouraged to migrate to ClassIT+?
Current FastClass subscribers will be encouraged to migrate to ClassIT+ since SMC3 is sunsetting their FastClass product with the release of ClassIT+ and 2025-1. An official announcement will be made in January 2025.
How will the transition of FastClass subscribers be handled?
We will create a dedicated team to support the transition of FastClass subscribers to ClassIT+. This transition team will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting FastClass subscribers as they inquire about ClassIT+ and the transition.
- Leading communications efforts for FastClass subscribers to help share details about the transition.
- Assisting with transferring FastClass subscriber data to ClassIT+ in preparation for their transition to ClassIT+.
Will current FastClass subscribers automatically transfer to ClassIT+?
No, FastClass subscribers must approve the transition of their subscription to ClassIT+. Once we’ve received their approval and a signed license agreement, we will automatically transfer their subscription to ClassIT+. Similar to the transition of current ClassIT subscribers, we will transfer their user and licenses and match their expiration date to their 2025/2026 FastClass expiration date.
