| The National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC)® |
The NMFC Item Lookup Tool quickly and easily helps you identify how an item will be affected by the 2025-1 NMFC changes effective July 19, 2025.
You must first register to use the NMFC Item Lookup Tool. See Registering for Access to the NMFC Item Lookup Tool for more information.
To look up your item(s):
- Go to https://getclassification.com/ or click on the link from your registration email.
- Do one of the following:
- Enter one or more item numbers, separated by a comma (no spaces), and then click Search.
- Click Load Items from File and Search, select the file to upload, and then click Search.

The CSV format (.csv) is supported for file uploads. In addition, you can save your search results to your computer and share them with your team by clicking Export Results to File. |
