Viewing SCAC API Documentation and SDK

Standard Carrier Alpha Code™ (SCAC®)

There are five ways to view the SCAC Web Service API Documentation & Software Development Kit (SDK) information:

  • Link on the Data Product Purchase screen
  • Download link on the Order Confirmation
  • Download link in the Email Confirmation
  • Download link on the Account Profile
  • SCAC API option from the Main Menu

Viewing from the Purchase a Data Product or Service Screen

To view the documentation on the Purchase a Data Product or Service screen:

  1. Click on Manage SCAC, then click Purchase a Data Product.
    The Purchase a Data Product wizard opens.
  2. Click on the applicable Documentation & SDK link.
    The Documentation and SDK screen opens.

  3. For documentation, click Download under SCAC API Documentation.
  4. For SDK Code documentation, click on the applicable download under the File Name column.

Viewing from the Account Profile

To view the documentation on the Account Profile:

  1. Go to the Account Profile and click on the applicable Data Product section to expand.
  2. Click View the Documentation. The SCAC API Documentation and SDK Code screen opens.

Viewing from the Main Menu

To view the documentation from the main menu, simply click Manage SCAC and then select SCAC API. The SCAC API Documentation and SDK Code screen opens.
