Renewing a SCAC Online Subscription

Please note the following:

• Resellers can only renew data products for themselves but not for the carrier accounts that they manage.
• Data product renewal notices are automatically sent at 90, 60, and 30 days prior to the SCAC expiration date.
• You can add/remove licenses as well as assign/unassign licenses to users at time of renewal.
• The renewal window for SCAC data product subscriptions follow the same calendar year renewal window as SCAC. This means that the renewal window for products that expire in 2025 opens in January 2025. The exception is for those products that expire in January-March. The renewal window for these products open 90 days prior to expiration.
• If renewed prior to expiration, then the new expiration date is one year from previous expiration date.
• If renewed after expiration, then the new expiration date is one year from the renewal date.

To renew the current SCAC Online subscription:

1. Go to your Account Profile.

2. Click on the SCAC Online section to expand.

   

When a SCAC Online subscription is expired, the Manage Licenses button along with the Number of Licenses and the Number of Licenses Used information are read-only.

3. Click the Renew Subscription button.
   The Data Product Renew screen opens.

4. Enter the number of licenses you’d like to renew. You can add additional or remove licenses prior to completing your renewal. The cost per license and the total is displayed in the table at the bottom of the screen. Click Next to proceed.

If you enter fewer licenses than you currently have and that are assigned, an error message displays that reads "You've decreased your license count below your current assignments. Please go to Manage Licenses and adjust your license assignments before proceeding." To manage and assign subscription license(s) to the applicable users, log in and go to your account profile. 5. Fill out the payment information, and then click Place Order.
   The Order Confirmation screen opens.

Remember that you cannot access your subscription without assigning a license to the applicable user who will be accessing the subscription. See Managing SCAC Online Users and Licenses for more information managing your subscription license assignments.
