The National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC)® |
Data updates in ClassIT+ follow the same timeline for the NMFC Data updates, which begins with a Proposal and culminates in the publication of a Supplement. These NMFC updates directly impact ClassIT+ in two specific ways:
- Coming Soon: The Coming Soon tool is only available between the Disposition Bulletin issue date and the Supplement's effective date. The means that the Coming Soon tool searches data that is being updated and issued but is not yet effective. See Exploring the ClassIT+ Coming Soon Tool for more information.
- What's New: What's New displays data updates since the most recent Supplement Effective date. See Exploring ClassIT+ What's New for more information.
- Search: When NMFC Data updates become effective, they are then available through Search. See Exploring ClassIT+ Search for more information.
| Please note that ClassIT+ Search searches all effective data, both changed and unchanged, and is always available. See Exploring ClassIT+ Search for more information. |
See NMFC Data Update Lifecycle for more information on this workflow.
