To create multiple user accounts using the bulk upload process:
- Create a standard comma separated values file (.csv file):
- The .csv file can be created from a text file or an Excel spreadsheet.
- Each line in the file should contain a new record.
- Each record consists of four required fields separated by a comma.
-
The field sequence is: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Password.
DISCLAIMER: Images contain sample data for testing purposes only and do not reflect current or accurate customer or pricing information. - Each user password must have a minimum of 12 characters, with at least one of each of the following: upper case character, lower case character, and number.
- The upload file will not process unless all records have a valid password.
- Open the User Manager. Open the User Manager using one of the following methods:
- Log into the User Manager at https://usermanager.nmfta.org/; or,
- Open the User Manager from another NMFTA application by clicking on Quick Links, and then selecting User Manager.
- Click Manager Users, and then select Upload Users. The Upload Users page opens.
- If you know the subscription number to the product to which the users will be assigned, enter it in the Assign License field.
| The Assign License field is optional. See Finding Your Product Subscription Number for details. |
- Click Choose File to browse to and select the .csv file.
- Click Upload Users.
- If the product’s subscription number was provided, then the user accounts are created, and the applicable licenses are assigned and activated for each user. Double-check the new user accounts by searching for and viewing the new accounts.
- If the product’s subscription number was not provided, then the user records are created, but no licenses are assigned or activated. See Assigning, Approving, or Denying Licenses for additional details on completing this process.
