How to designate who manages an account—reseller or carrier?
Resellers can designate who will manage a SCAC—the reseller or the carrier—during the application process by selecting the Managed by Carrier after SCAC assignment checkbox in the Apply for a New SCAC wizard.

| If the Managed by Carrier after SCAC assignment checkbox is selected, then the initial payment at time of application is associated with the reseller account. However, the carrier’s Account Profile contains a line under Payment Details that states that the affiliated reseller account has the payment details. All future transactions, such as renewal, will be affiliated with the carrier’s Account Profile and not the reseller account. |
