Customers can renew their SCAC from their Account Profile.
To renew:
Click Home. Your Account Profile page opens.
Click the SCAC's header to expand and display it's details.
Click Renew SCAC. The One-Click SCAC Renew page opens.
Enter a payment method. You can automatically fill in your company address information by clicking Use Company Address. Accepted forms of payment include:
Credit Card: Select this option if paying by credit card.
Bank ACH: Select this option if paying by bank account.
Please note that any company address associated with a SCAC must be a physical address. PO Box addresses are not accepted. If your SCAC is affiliated with a PO Box, please contact NMFTA Customer Service.

Answer the question Are you a non-class 8 carrier?
If Yes, review your information.
If you answer Yes, then you must have a DOT number associated with your SCAC. If you do not, then you are required to contact Customer Service and provide this information.

If No, click Verify Identity and follow the ID Verification steps. Once completed, you are redirected back to the Easy Renew form. See Using the SCAC ID Verification Portalfor more information.
You must confirm that you acknowledge the ID verification process fee of $5 after clicking Verify Identity. This fee is non-refundable.
The number of failed ID verification attempts is limited to three (3) failures withing twenty-four (24) hours. If all three (3) attempts result in failure, then the portal is automatically locked for twenty-four (24) hours.

Click Continue on the Confirmation dialog box.
Please note the following:
A receipt is automatically sent for the $5 fee for the ID verification process. This is separate from the SCAC purchase receipt.
An email notification is automatically sent if the ID verification is declined.
The 30-, 60-, and 90-day renewal notices contain the ID verification statement that reads as follows, “ID verification is required for non-class 8 carriers during renewal."
Click Renew Code.
Once renewed, an email confirmation along with the SCAC certificate is sent to the contact person on the account.
An Order Confirmation displays.
To download the SCAC certificate, click Download Certificate (PDF).
To email the SCAC certificate, click Email Certificate.
To download the receipt, click Download Receipt (PDF).
To email the receipt, click Email Receipt.
Please note that during the renewal or reinstatement process, you will automatically receive an email notification when your ID Verification status changes from In Review to Approved or Declined.
